hpi savage x 4.6 trying to fit 6v hump pack

i have a hpi savage x 4.6 and I'm trying to fit like an aftermarket 6v hump pack but cant really get it to fit in the original battery holder area. is there a specific orientation? i plugged it in and it works fine but cant find a way to get it inside the holder and close the holder.

maybe a couple pics of the problem, I have several 6v hump packs and never have trouble fitting mine into the space allotted for them....

That's what I have in mine as well.

Did you maybe get a sub-c 6V pack for 1/5th scale instead of a 2/3A hump pack?

I am betting that is exactly what he got, as we all mostly know that pack will never fit inside the box......
