HPI radio question

I just bought a HPI tp-10 3 channel radio with built in fail safe.How do I set the failsafe and what does it actually control? It if a FM radio.Also does the light flash on the radio when the batteries go dead? Thanks Guys

The fail safe controls the Throttle servo when there is an interference in the signal. I believe you just turn the dial but cannot remember. Someone will chime in on this or you can probably find this in the HPI Baja Manual on the HPI web site.

When I would stop sometimes it would not take of again.The light was flashing when the truck stopped.I turned it counterclockwise and the light went out. But it still did it.What do you guys use for batteries?:bad pc:
