It’s not miss packed it’s a spelling error it’s correct part number but wrong description add same problem 👍👊
Take it you’ve got the new all steel 3 speed gears ? There more shimms on the new centre cluster old 3 speed add 1 shim new 1 as 3 shimms + 1 on end in front of bearing 👍👊

It is all HD now - originally sourced a center gear box with all the gubbins - the first gear is/was plastic - instead of going all FLM - went first gear HD and then upgraded what I thought was to the 2nd HD - which actually turned out to be the 3rrd HD Faster Top End gear.

Just waiting for the adjustable HD 2nd gear to come in the mail - appreciated the shimming tips!

👍ye Hpi do the steel 1st gear now as well ye 3rd gear actually says 2nd gear on parts bag but it’s correct part number check the pics above I sent you Hpi done few typo mistakes on the new 3 speed stuff were are you based are you in the UK ? 👍

Bit confusing with the packaging but figure it out eventually - yes - based in the UK for my sins - Essex area - been bashing in a few places but haven't quite found the optimal bashing ground yet

Because I think it could be related - my crank shaft is covered in muck - I think it is rust - what is the best way to remove and the crank bearing - if that's what it is called - is no good - need a new one - what's the best way to remove and any recommendations on a replacement at all?

There’s some good vids on YouTube on deep cleans n rust removal on nitro engines n you will after find the bearing measurements n get diffrant brand as force engines closed down less you can find old stock ? All the dynamite 28 engine parts are the same 👍

Did an overnight soak of the crankshaft and the housing to see if that would help - apparently if the muck disappears it’s just old fuel - if the muck is still there it is rust - unfortunately it is still there so need a polish

Going to try some Green Stuff as ran out of break cleaner - the great thing is - the K4.1 - I had longer than the F4.6 - started up and idled great - I am still deciding on what to do with the K5.9 because it is supposedley an absolute headache - I have gone through all of everthing people have said about the K5.9 - and I can get it to run really strong - but it needs tuning every few minutes - the K5.9 won't want to lift the fornt wheels up unless I lean the LSN - it is a weird engine - I'm going to give it one more chance since my last check - where I found the HSN plastic insert actually shifted down - making resestting impossible unless you noticed - the seals have been green slimed - just want a consistent tune tbh - - hence the mid tank projects

People that don't understand - or refuse to accept - that half tank mid lean - is a thing - it really is - use ears and eyes - the engine will tell you
