hellp me!!! please!!... i want to know if there are a video or tutorial about how to set up mi spur gear.... because i have a lot of problems whit this

thanks a lot!! i broken 6 spur gears in 15 days, i try to solved the problem but i can do that in the right way!!.
in the video... a have tu put a paper between the SP and the CB then adjust the screws...but how much???
 
if you use the paper method, get the CB and spur snug against each other then remove the paper.

How long have you had your savy? Done any major jumps with some bad landings? 6 spurs in 15 days is a lot, and can be caused by a bad mesh, but can also be caused by a bent motor plate, slipper not being tight enough etc.
 
the weight of the paper matters too. printer paper and the "paper" method is not the same.

use the edge of your HPI manual. just cut a strip off the edge of one of the pages. one page in the book is marked to do so...
 
if you don't have your manual with, i've taken print paper and folded it in half. I find this works for a good mesh as well.

ahhh, reminds me of when I first got my Savage 21

I had spur gear issues as well

I searched the web for help and found two sites, unnamed and HPISF.com

I got the cold shoulder at the first one and found a new home here...........

thanks a lot for your reply ( my english its not so good because I'm a peruvian guy, if some of you cant explain that in spanish... i will apreciate to much ) ... this problem start when a used a spur gear of 49T whit a CB of 17T ...( the factory settings are 47t/17T)...because my dealer shop don't have it in stock... this can be the problem??...
