how do I choose whats right for me and my truck?

Is it what ever i like? Is there a right and wrong size/tread?

can u guys suggest some setups?

I know stock hub is 17mm if that helps.

Difference between foams?

I am a basher aswell so bes setup for bashing is what I want, also i want it to look bada$$

I don't think i wanna go the beadlock rout because of alot of weight and guys at LHS say the same thing.

I was searching around and found this combo, what do you guys think?

Is this a good tire?

What conditions do you drive in most the time, and what terrain?

Also what combo are you talking about?

The Losi Zombies are a sweet bashing tire and look really mean......

As for rims I like the stock Warlocks as they are tough as nails. Or you could go with some Maximizers.......

That would be a sweet looking combo. And be good for on and off road bashing. As for foams firm last longer and you get less sidewall flex in the tire. Usually You just use the foams that come with the tires unless you are a serious racer.

i ride grass gravel dirt and some pavement.

the combo with those rims in the pic and those tires. both on the hpi site.

I've gotta admit, even though I've only been running them for a week, the RPM Stablemaxx rims have really impressed me! I'm also running Maxx Masher tires on 'em.

My buddy Justin (barkrupter) just got a set of those RPM and ripped the center out of it within 5 min. I own a set too but haven't bashed them yet.

Yes, but you have to unmount the tires and than wait without one for a while while you wait for them to send you a new one......

As I said I own a set. I have more RPM stuff for more cars than a lot of people so you don't have to tell me about they warranty the offer.

I love RPM stuff I just need to hear some more good things about these rims in particular before I will feel good recomending them to someone again.

I have some Zombies on Maximizers. Haven't driven them yet have only heard good thing about them.

the nice thing about RPM is the lifetime warranty. If it breaks, send it to them and they'll send you another one right away!

Like vroom said I liked the RPM stable max rim until the 5 min mark...
As far as the warranty its a limited one and for as little as not having the tire glued on your not coved... Big jumps not coved any crushing damage with the break not coverd Fine line to walk. People think they can do what they want because it says RPM ..... WRONG! lol O well...:stickspank:

I don't care for the dirt claws too much. I have a set but there a ho hum tire
I love HPI dirtbonzs, and mulchers for sure! But keep them off the tar...

Heres that rim and the grass that broke it.

Like I said before, I've only had the rims for about a week so I really can't vouch for them yet. However, I do have experience w/ the RPM warranty. I busted a shock tower and they sent me a new one less than 4 days later. Not too shaby in my book. Below is the letter they sent with the new part.

Thats too funny you should have sent them a thank you letter telling them you want results and not excuses but its nice they pass off failures to you and not their parts.
How did you get them back in less than 4 days ? VA to CA is that all day. You pay them to rush it and over night it there?

The same day I was in the skate park later with ditbonz on warlocks with a few harsh landings and not a scratch. It was 47 and sunny don't let the snow fool ya thats left over from 10 inches we got 3 days before. I love the warlocks for strength! I run 9mm spacers with them and their just as stable as the RPM's with twice the strength all day. But thats just them light blue RPM rims the rest is good.I had a few hits on another site saying the same happened to theres. This was a failure. They (RPM) don't have it but they went to a thread I gave them and they told me is covered. I haven't bothered I don't want them now... Not worth the time to glue it back up. The dark blue ones were good... Its the new light ones that are junk .... Just beware of grass...lol Thanks for the letter, I hate excuse's. But its funny!

Not gonna get into this here... The point is, I never had an issue with their customer service. I sent them the broken part on a Saturday and had the new part by Thursday.. Here's my original post as it happened:

I was serious! Do they have that option? I wasn't bustin.... I don't have a issue with them! Sweet stuff just not this rim... My IE7 wont go anywhere with traxxas in the name. Its the smart edition LMAO hehehe Now I'm bustin.. I just didn't see that ship with out them doing something special thats all. I was asking if they would. I know there turn around time is 1 day! But standard shipping up to 15 days back.... It was just for my interest in this issue. I have stuff on the table to go to them is was just good to know. But NM Thanks anyways ~Justin~

Check out the badlands. They are a great basher tire. I know you said you don't want to go beadlocks but the the maximizers are a great wheel. I hate glued tires. I bought a set of glued tires for racing and stripped a hex first outing, so annoying. I have never stripped a maximizer.

I have two sets of maximizers and they are awesome. The weight issue you speak of may be more at the 40 series wheels with beadlocks. The maximizers are not near as bulky.

the stockers did just fine for me, it slid around when i needed it to and got traction when i wanted it.

i have the hpi goliaths now, and they are good for bashing and jumping, but too big of a tire to do much else with. as far as the traction goes, i have only driven them on the snow and wet grass and they grip really good.

I have some Zombies on Maximizers. Haven't driven them yet have only heard good thing about them.

I have those same wheels and tires...coming in the mail. When they get here, hopefully before the weekend, I plan on weighing then vs. the Warlocks/GT2s and my Warlocks/Dirt Bonz. I'll let you know just how much heavier the setup is...I'm curious myself!

sounds good, i know anything beadlock is going to weigh in more then glued wheels I also hear about the beadlock not holding very well andtires comming apart.

I like the dirt claw/ warlock combo I have. See pic in my signature.
