why would somebody install extenteded shafts on a x ?

to gain width and stability on the truck. when i had an X i put on the 1/2" offset rims and it really made a big difference that i was happy with.

either that or he just wants to try something a little different

ya I'm just running offset rims myself and its wide enough for me!! still have the 1 inch nova wheel extensions sitting in the drawer lol barely used...

+1 are you trying to install XL axles on an X or some other mfr?

yes i am because i want to make sharp turns and i don't want it to flip it did ALOT better since i lowered it with the flux shocks but i want it extended now

ok. the savage xl takes a thicker dogbone than the X and larger-interior diameter axles and diff outdrive cups to accommodate the thicker dogbone.

so, if you want to use the xl ext axles then you need the dogbones and diff cups.

another option is off-set rims. i use 1/2" offset which makes the truck 1" wider; a much cheaper alternative

oh i might go with the tires but how much for cups and dogbones etc

wow tires it is lol but it goins come out close to the same
