HOw hard are pull start on X4.6 ?

Ok I rebuilt my pull start ! What a pain in the butt ...
I unlocked the owb from the motor that was stuck ...
Cleaned up the engine inside out with WD , it cracks by hand ok .
It seems very hard to pull the pull start tho , I mean it does it but it feels really hard .
IS that normal doctor ?
I never used pull start but always used starting wheels, there was no such tings back in my nitro days hehe but on lawn mawners and chainsaws ;p

sounds like your mill has some pinch to it. should be fine. if you wanna take some stress of that pull start you can do 2 things:

1. heat the mill with a heat gun or hair dryer prior to starting
2. loosen the glow plug a tiny bit till she fires, then tighten it back up.

freddys got ya coverd... but i was wondering what you mean its hard to pull? from bottom to top? or is it just got tight spots in it? if it feels lose then tight lose then tight ..ect ect ...its right lol ..like frddy said its got pinch in it still...good luck.... and yes heat it up a lil first it makes a huge difference and wont break the pull start as easy lol.. you know how fun that is ...plus heating it up helps on the stress of the con rod piston sleeve ... have fun ..happy bashn.
