OK well can't tune the truck in yet. With the suspension set up the CVD's pop out of the diff cups when the suspension works. That is why MIP doesn't make CVD's for HPI anymore. So have some HD dog bones on the way for the truck. Did get the body done and a little idle video. It ran like that for 20 min and never got over 109F so I shut it down. I couldn't bump the gas up or the wheels would engage and throw the CVD's out. .

Nice build. Colors... I like it. Looks unique.

Are the dog bones getting thrown out because of the extreme angle on them? I could be wrong, but I doubt different dog bones will make a difference. Those shocks are nice, but too long to use a typical shock tower. You need a taller shock tower because I know you wouldn't want to reduce the shock travel by shimming the shock internally to limit travel length.

I also noticed this on Whipnet's at the Texas Bash. While on the stand, the dog bones (at the diff cups) are in a bind. I can only imagine how bad that would be while bashing and it gets airborne with some significant wheel speed. Or just sitting on the stand (like you mentioned) running. They get in a bad bind and eject. I see future frustrations unless you install taller shock towers (or something to get the a-arms to significantly reduce the dogbone angle).

Can't wait to see it at the next Texas Bash.

How does that mac pipe perform over other pipes? Could you give me a link with everything need to do the mac pipe?

I have no idea in regards to performance how they compare to others. However, I do know that they are LOUD!!!! Maybe JCAM or some other users can speak to their performance.

Actually the shocks aren't that bad on travel. The problem is that the CVD's total length is shorter than the over all length of a dogbone with drive cup. It is an issue with the MIP CVD's. I had the CVD's on mine and got rid of them do to them throwing out and damaging my diff cups on my savage. I run the HPI big bores and run a lot flatter than his set up. The way I have it set they don't put the bones in a bind.

Thanks for all the nice complements. Can't wait to be able to run again. Kinda weird for a bit but fun non the less.
