anyone ever fabbed up there own LST shock mounting kit?? I'm thinking I'm going to try, but i dunno..i would like to try before spending the 40$ or whatever it is...
either way some closeups of you purchased shock mounts would help..

maybe should have posted this in the custom modding section, but move it if you wanna mods..

EDIT: new info for the semi-boneheaded move i made...it just occurred to me that my rc solutions roll cage will interfere with the LST shocks and mounts, but i will overcome this, and i think the WOW factor really went up though now that i really think about it. i don't think i have seen a savvy with a cage and LST shocks, but I'm going to make it work, so I'm not too worried about it..

I,ve seen a few guys make their own. Thing is it will cost you around $20 in material. Just a lot easier to spend $40 and get a proven kit. Its always cool to make your own stuff, but whats your time worth?

i could probably do it for free, and have it what i would say is professionally made as long as i can get an general idea of what i need...my uncle works at tool and die for chrysler and does small stuff like this all the time...
