High speed third gear set

HPI high speed third gear set Has anyone tried this? Is it worth doing? Is it easy to install?

No not tried, but I would definately give it a go. The only thing that puts me off, is the job of getting the box out. If I had other problems with the gear box and I had to take it out, then I would get some of those gears ready to go in. I don't think I want to go faster bad enough to remove the G box to fit them.

I will try it sooner or later. I don't mind removing the transmission actually I am finding it to be half or at least 1/4 of the fun of this hobby, I mean taking it apart, making change's inprovments, PM, etc..

What I like best about this (other than it might give us the top speed to beat the traxass as far as speed goes) is I have only been in the savage arena a short while and seen so many new upgrade's, it really is endless, I love that, my wallet dosent.

I agree. Well it looks like no one has tried this, I might give it a shot and write up a review.

I might also give them a try. I still need to finish getting stuff moved in and situated first. Plus, finish building my work table and get the money without the wife finding out about it.
