Here is my plan for a cage for my XL - comments?

I am planning a cage for my XL out of Delrin - and this is the mock up I have done with brake line VERY rough, but needed to estimate materials.

Thoughts?

One thing that will be changing is the rear will angle silghtly down towards the rear bulkhead, then a wing will be on the back - I am just shocked that what you see is almost 12 feed of tubing!

Do you plan to be able to run a body over it or just the cage?

I am planning on not running a body, but to add lexan\aluminum to the framing and make it look like an off-road rock-crawler (real ones, not like the RC ones)...

This is the type of look I am going to go for:

I have been into full-sized rock crawelers for years, I love the look, and if I can make something that looks like this out of Delrin, I would be happy as a clam
