I am trying to convert my 2 speed trans to flux trans, I have bought idle gear as the video I watched on youtube says but my trans is different it opens in 2 parts rather than the top coming off, I've opened it up and the middle gears now won't line up with the bottom but will on the top.. A bit confused if someone could help would much appreciate it! Thanks

you seem to have one of the early transmissions, you can get the better one and transfer your stuff to that, I think JRC has them for a good price.....

if using an older .25 you will most likely have some upgrades to do, diff cups, gears in transmission and possibly some other things, run it and see what gets broken and go from there is what I would do...

The savage is a basher....not a racer. I'd recommend not putting on a wing just to have it smashed the first time you land on it's backside.

Aside from that, I'm not sure there is a definitive wing and mount specific for the savage. I believe people have adapted other setups.

I have to agree with X, the Savage is a bash rig and not a racer, using a wing will not make it a racer and most likely the wing will get torn up pretty quickly.....
