I have a picco .26 outlaw motor in my savage. I had no problem up till three two weeks ago. Two weeks ago the carb started freezing up once the motor gets up to temp. Once the motor cools the carb works fine again.

I have taken the carb apart and sanded and polished the slide and the carb body and it is still doing it.

I have an idea why this maybe happening and want your input on my idea.

I think that the problem may be in my fuel. I am using a gallon of monster fuel that my buddy gave me the other week when he sold his trucks. I am thinking that the oil in the fuel has eather settled out or that there was never anyput in the fuel in the first place and once the motor gets up to temp and is eather shut off or stalls the little bit of fuel that was lubercating the carb is boiled off and the carb starts sticking because the slide has expanded dew to the heat and has no oil on it to lubercate it anymore.

What do you guys think of this is it possible or no. This is the only thing i can think of and it would explain why my buddy was having so much trouble with his trucks which unfortunatly led him to sell all of his nitro trucks.

Does the carb stick when it's not attached to any linkages? I had a problem with my slide because the part that the linkage pulled on was not aligned. Have you tried spraying it with WD40? I did this on a carb I had long ago and it was smooth like butter after.
