Help needed in relation to steering

Hi, I have just gotten a Savage X 4.6.
During the break-in, I came across a issue with the steering.
I seem to loses all steering control for no reason at all.
I could be 2 meters or 10 meters away from the truck.

What makes it even stranger is that I still have control over acceleration and breaking.

I have taken the truck to a big open park, and i still have an issue, thinking it might have been some interference from something, but still get the issue.

Any help on this would be great,

1. Are you pulling the transmitter antenna all the way out to full extention?
2. Sure your batteries are fully charged?
3. Are you using a hump receiver pack or the 4 AA batteries in your savage?

Thanks for your quick response.

Yes, I am fully extending the transmitter antenna.
The batteries are new from the box.

I will however go purchase new batteries just to be on the safe side.

yes if the batteries arent 100% it could cause the problem your talking about so start there and let us know how it turns out and we will dig deeper later if needed!!!
