I think the ice came from the cables that hold up the tower. Thats why the ice falls off in long strips.

That mess was crazy, I sure would not be running around while those ice chunks are falling. I think even if my car was out there I might not go out there I would hope my insurance would cover it. I hope the owner of that car had insurance.
