has anyone bought cheap servos from hong kong?

i need a steering servo but cant afford to pay the price for a good one so i been looking at the ones on ebay in hong kong has anybody used them they do look well made and a torque of 15kg but are they ? heres a link

thats what i run, there digi, and a little noisey but they work VERY well. only use it as a steering servo tho cuz they don't always center perfect so it makes a good steering servo but not throttle brake.

its the same as the one your looking at the mg 995 but with the upgrades, much better centering and not so noisey. not as powerful but there much better.

they are slightly bigger then the servos in the savage but they will fit you just have to bend the rubber thing on the wires, its tight but they do work.

I use a couple of the mg995's and I've had no problems with them at all. Like baddaz said they are noisy, but you wont notice it when the engine is running anyway

Looks like there just a Tower Pro Servo which are just rebranded from someone else like Futaba or Hitec or whatever.

Most of the sites selling them claim they are unbranded futaba's. Whether or not that is true, I don't know. But they work and they are cheap so for bashing they are perfect.

SD morris sent me 2 of these in a truck I snagged up off him. I honestly powered them up listened to them make all kinds of noise and promptly took them out of the truck and are at the bottom of a box around here somewhere. . Very low quality!! Do they work IDK never gave them a chance. But thats just my opinion of them.

Unless I did my conversion wrong, they are claiming 15kg torque. That's 529oz's!!! I have not seen one that powerful at any price... especially $10-$15 or whatever they are asking.
