Hi! I'm new to the forums and new to r/c modding as well. I only have about 300 questions about modding at this point, but for here, i will just ask this one and distribute the rest of my questions in the proper forums.

I see that there are graphite tvp chassis parts that are available upgrade, but i can find no forum posts that talk about them. I also see no pictures that people have posted showing them in use.

So my question is simple: Are they worth their money?

I don't know if they are worth the money. Don't get a CF chassis to save weight, savage isn't worth trying to make it light. They do look good. Hop uses a Vertigo Performance chassis and I don't believe they make them any more. Hpi makes a set as well as others. Hop's Truck...CLICK HERE

i agree with FX trying to save weight on a savy is like taking a fat kid into a candy store and saying don't eat anything.

I have a set coming, They only save about 4oz. but they look pretty cool and their much stronger than stock tvps

I got them in and installed them, I have to say that i like them very light, rigid, and look cool. I got them for $93 shipping included which is about $20 cheaper than my LHS
