graphite brake

I bought a brake set off of ebay for my savage. It came with a single disc setup, is this set intended for use with only one disc? or should i buy another set for a dual setup? I currently have the dual disc setup with the red fiber disc

I believe that it is set up for the single disc set up.

Is there a reason your trying to get away from the red fiber dual disc??

my disc are getting worn. I don't want to go to a single disc though. Ill just sell this integy one i have and look for the same style i have, I'm very happy with them

Did they wear quickely or do the red fibers last quite a while?

well they definalty did not wear down fast... they have been on a quite awhile and still seem to have some life to them, one of them has a spot on it where maybe it got hit or something where a small chunk is gone and i was just looking to replace them. adjusted right, i can still go nose over slammin the brakes on from a high speed

ya i.ve had good luck so far with the red fiber brakes, in fact i had to unscrew the brake adjustment screw way out so it didnt flip over lol
