well i trashed my front diff!!

so i decited to upgrade to the xl diffs not thinking of all the changes i would have to make to my .21. so i get the new diffs in the mail. yea I'm read to run. "NOT""

i had to remove the guts from the xl diff cases and switch the over to my .21 diff cases

Then i realize the out drive cups are bigger . guess i wasnt thinking or just wanted a way to explain to the old lady why i had to buy the XL wide axels and XL DOGBONES..lol

well by this time my savy decides it wants new bearings all the way arround it and i figure why not i have to wait on parts anyway, so it starts to look more like a scrap pile than what it actually is

well I'm happy to say New Bearings all around, new XL diffs, new dogbones,
and new XL Wide axels, and i think she is one happy old SAVY .21 with a axial .28 to to bash the heck out of her with.. i cant wait! ill be taking it out today and let ya know how it turns out!

and a big thanks to Pope who helped me through this task..



i think she looks great other than the body! it just looks soo skinny on it. now i need a wider boby!! any suggestions???

no they are meatal, just painted black so they do look like plastic

i think he means the diff cup that holds the ring gear is plastic and those have alot of flex to them.
