Flywheel Question

I am getting to order a flywheel and i was wondering what the diffrence is between these two. I no 1 is vented and the other is not.But is there any thing else that is diffrent between them.Thanks for your help.

there doesn't seem to be a difference beside it being vented but because it is vented it is less rotating mass.

I actually run both. They both work great. Either would be fine. I personally like the vented one as it should help cool the Flywheel and if the fly is cooler the clutch should be cooler. I'm not 100% sure if it helps much but that is the point in it.

Thanks Maxs and Larsen for you help. But I notice that the HPI one come wtih the brass bushing and RR doesn't. Is this needed.I plan on runing Nova shoes with Mugen 1.0 springs, is there any thing else that I need.

It is needed as it is a collet and both parts are tapered so as you tighten the flywheel nut they pinch together and pinch the Crank shaft making it grip it and spin. You will have one on the stock motor otherwise you can purchase them separately in a package of 2 or whatever.
