Bought my Flux in December 09. :rock:
I am trying to make this truck a basher as well as a racer. This truck (without a doubt) is a great basher. It brings smile on my face whenever its running.
Once a month, we have an Offroad race so i will be taking part in it. I am not a serious racer..... i join the race for fun and meet other offroaders. If i was dat serious, i would have bought a nice truggy for racing. But i love this Flux and i mostly use what it is good for = Bashing.
In Singapore, we don't have Monster Truck Class in any Races. So for us who are running Monster Trucks, we have to join the Truggy Class. As everyone knows, MTs can't compete with Truggys....... nevertheless, we still race with them and its FUN !!!

The stuffs that i have so far bought for my Flux:
* TCS Extended TVP with extended dogbone to make my truck longer.
* TCS Esc mount plate. (Now my ESC is mounted just behind the motor)
* HPI Sway Bar.
* HPI Suspension Conversion Set.
* XL Axle to make my truck wider.
* HPI Tremor Wheels with Goliath Tires (For Bashing Only)
* Hitec HS-5955TG steering servo

Yeah man.... will take note. The most important thing for me now is, i wanna get the suspension conversion set and either offset wheels or Novarc wheel extension.

What is the part number on the xl length center rear shaft?

Sweet truck btw!... I want to see some standing backflips with the new tvp's 🙂

looks good man, love the alum and black look 🙂
u going to get the esc plate from tcs to mount the esc behind the motor and to finish her off?

Oh yeah man. Forgot to mention that. Will mount the ESC behind the motor with the ESC plate from TCS.

Any suggestion on whether i should go for aluminum big bore shocks? Or stick with the stock plastic big bores?

sweet truck rohitx i would stick with the plastic bigbores. (i will prob get banned for saying that ) but in mho the plastic shocks are lighter and more forgiving in a crash. i would how ever put hellfire shock shafts in it to drop it down nicely and cut a couple more ounces out of the truck

Sounds good mickey. Hellfire shock shaft will fit in the big bores or do i have to modify anything?

unless the plastic breaks <and id be surprised if it did> i cant see spending money for basically the same shock you already have.

Make sure you get the longest hellfire shocks. They come in different lengths. The shorter ones may be too short unless you mod your suspension mount.

Sweet stuff. Looking forward to racing you again this Feb 🙂

btw Rohitx kicked my behind last race. 😀

Thanks guys for ur input. Will look into it and i am gonna stick with the plastic Big Bores :rock:

@DragonFireSg - Dude last race was just lucky for me. I did not break anything and managed to finish off. Heheh
See you on 21st for the second race of 2010.
BTW holla me if you are going to the tracks to bash ur Flux

so what if you don't have bigbores and you are gonna buy either plastic or aluminum... would it be the same thing, leaning towards the plastic... or did you say that mostly because he already has plastic? If the aluminum ones had threaded bodies that would help them in my opinion, but without, is there really much diff between the two? Just wondering, may be something I do soon.

Good Question. But i am assuming that if you don't have either one, u still go for plastic Big Bores.
I will stick to my stock ones and get the hellfire shock shaft.
