Mickey that looks great. Did you use regular rattle cans to paint it? I want to try a fade but I wasnt sure how it was going to come out.

its definatly a rattle can special . ijust laid a piece of cardboard over the body to give me the fade line

It looks preety good to me. Another way to do rattle can fades is to mark on the outside of the body (on the protective film or course) where and how wide you want the fade to be. Then spray one color first. Spray heavier where it's gonna be that solid color and lightly where the fade is gonna be. Once that dries, do the other color the same way as the first. Heavy where the color is solid and light where the fade is. Do a couple coats that way and it'll turn out good also. Here's an example of the one I did.

Great job both of you...I really like the fade paint jobs. Thanks for your input with the cardboard idea, too. Maybe I'll attempt that next time. I did the other way last time and it worked pretty well (with what limited abilities I have...lol)!!

Nice work xtrem. I love the color choices too. It blends really well. I'm going to try that on the extra shell I have. I just need to pick the right colors.

Alright guys, remember this is mickey's thread and not mine. Although I do appreciate the comments. Those pics were only posted as an example to the fade method I used.
