Better to be safe than sorry, so I am looking at buying a failsafe.

I have found an ebay auction for two Fasttrax failsafes. Are they a good make to go for? I guess it will do what it is supposed to.. not looking for anything fancy at the moment.

Thanks in advance for your input.

i've heard the venom fail safes are a good choice but i've never ran a failsafe so I'm not sure as i've never heard of the ones you mentioned!!

i run a venom failsafe, and it saved my truck the first time i had it out. the tx had switched on when i moved it out of the truck into the house, and it lasted for about 10 mins after i started running the tank.i the the failsafe wouldn't of been there, my truck would of gotten creamed by a Peterwagon.

I have a Duratrax failsafe. Its very basic and inexpensive (about $17 US) but it has done its job a couple of times. Good Luck!

i use the ofna fail safe easy to hook up just plug it where your brake and throutle is on the receiver and plug the servo in it done works really good no programming and all that very simple its a life savor evey one who owns a rc should have one protection for you and other people.. tower has them. for 25.00 i think good luck thanks

ya the very first time i ever started my sav x i started it before even turning it on :duh: i just forgot somehow to hit the switch and it started right up and was at mach 1 instantly I'm lucky it flipped over or it would have been toast!!!!! so a fail safe definately is a good investment!!!

ya I'm thinking on the venom thats on smf.com its got a temp gauge in it too for 34 bucks it think
