I'm looking for a new body and have narrowed it down to the Cadillac Escalade ESV and the H2 SUT.

Escalade: http://cgi.ebay.com/PROLINE-07-Cadi...ryZ44028QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

H2 SUT: http://www.killerhobbies.com/items/...age-revo-clear-pro317500-pro317500-detail.htm

I have a question about the SUV style body-do you just mount the body after starting it and getting it running? I like the style of my body now how the rear is cut out and i can start the truck with the body on, fill the tank up with the body on, and make tuning adjustments with the body on. What about with an SUV style body? For those of you that have them, do you just have to do all that stuff with the body off?

And how about the H2 SUT body? is there enough room in the rear to cut that section out and access the engine/tank?

Suggestions/thoughts/comments?

I put a fairly big hole in mine to get to the engine for starting and temping. It would have to be a bigger hole for a pull starter. I would probably take the body off for that if I hadn't switched to the roto for racing.

I think if i had an SUV style body, I wouldn't want to cut a hole in the top because I feel it would lose a lot of it's strength and protetion. I have a pull start so it would have to be a big hole. I would probably have a hole in the windshield and back window to get some airflow to keep temps down.

I guess I'm leaning more towards the H2 SUT. Anyone have one of these and can show some pictures? Anyone else have experience with an SUV style body?

That's a pretty sweet paint job you got there. I don't think I like the EST version as much because to me it doesn't look proportionally balanced. Too much cab and too little truck bed.

Nevermind...I was looking at it again and it's not the bed that bothers me, but how the transfer from the hood to the cab is gradual (if that makes any sense).

I have to agree with you Zud- the hood is at to steep of an angle or the windshield is layed back to far or something.

Heres my ESV pre wing, sticker and lst. I can get to the glow plug and roto starter with the K4.6 and the pull on my K-H.O.

I think its the shape of the nose. I didn't like it till I stickered it... Also his ^^^ Has a lot of trim left on the body it makes it look Taller than it is. It don't looks as bad trimmed to the body line. It looks even better w/the wing but I have no good pics yet.. These are fuzzy as is...
