I have broken 3 engines in with that method and they are all still running strong.

every one has their own way of breaking their mills in but i agree with the heat cycle method

now I wanna buy a new motor just to try it out!..I broke my sts in more "new school"then "old" and It does make sense,the only way to know for sure is to have 2 motors same settings ..and see which 1 lasts longer..even then you cant be sure both trucks were ran the same
