Dynamite big red.28 install

For anyone interested , I have installed a dynamite big red.28 in the xl chaise . Two minor adjustments had to be made to get it installed. First was because it has the pull start I had to grind a little bit of the right side frame to get the bell gear to line up properly. Minor detail. Second was the the exhaust header seal on the back of the engine fit to the exhaust pipe was just a little loose. Simple put a little silicone around the the seal before you slide the pipe on and away you go. Other than that it fits right in. I’ll give a update on the performance of the engine when I finish breaking in the engine.

Could also try a thicker gasket. What gasket do you have? The purple HPI one's were pretty thick.

Using the gasket that came with the big red engine . If I knew what part number gasket to order I would definitely order a couple !!

87049 if you can find them. LRP, OS and dynamite ones seemed to be thinner.

Finding is a problem , there are all kinds on amazon but who knows what you will get
