i sell bearings for a living. the teflon is way better. the teflon is heat resistant where the rubber seals tend to melt under friction you made a good choice. i would go with metal sheilds for your clutch.

oh another great thing about teflon is you can oil them the oil will seap through the teflon.

So you agree that the teflon shield for the clutch bearings is a bad idea? For the tranny I thought they would make an excellent choice.

i wouldent say bad idea as i have not tryed it. i use metal for the clutch and ceramic bearings with teflon seals on the rest of my savage. if i had to buy the ceramic bearings i use i would have just as much money in the beraing as i do the savage.lol

hit me up if you need anything i can get stainless steel so they will not rust as well
