red dual pads are better IMO. The stainless duals worked well for about 3/4 of a gallon, maybe a little less. After that the brake pads started to rip.

still runnin my red fiber from original. work kill-ah, never had a thought or reason to change.

+1 w/ frddyj. I have used the red fiber since I got the truck. I think I am around 3 gallons now. I also ran w/o a skid plate for about 2 gallons of the 3. I do have a little separation of the fiber on one of the pads but still work great! I will be replacing them with the same thing when I get a chance. maybe around gallon number 4.

red duals ftw!! ive had mine on my truck and they are the only thing i havnt replaced and they have been on the truck since i got it over a yr ago.

eric....

yep red fiber for sure did this with my savage x rtr which jad just the single disk and haven't had any problems and better braking for sure!!

I've got stock dual reds with 3 gallons on them and no skid plate. They work awesome with the HPI SF-2 servo instead of the SF-1. Easily brings the back tires up when I hit the brakes. Actually rolls the truck on it's lid with ease.
