Driveshafts too short?

my drive shaft on the left front wheel started popping out of the axle cup under wot while turning the wheels. they appear to be a little short, but that can't be. seems to be about 3/8" of play in them. i checked another savage i have and this isn't the case. it seems to have minimal play.

Put an oring HPI 6811 in the diff cup. That would take care of the play, but i recommend getting a new axle. IMO

Correction oring HPI 75080

in the savage manual it calls for 6811. the 75080 are bigger. any particular reason for using 75080

I found the bigger orings worked better for me and is snugged in the diff cups.

Yeah, get new shafts to be sure, and use the o-rings. I don't run my XL with the o-rings, and I have had no issues so far.

Also try a piece of fuel tube inside the diff cup, tried this as couldn't get any O rings, works a treat
