Just recieved a couple of spurs from an ebay deal. Was in a rush to replace since I lost mine after my breakin ( yes I'm a newbie). Good news is I bought two from one guy and two different teeth from another hoping one would make it by last weekend. One guy sent a single and the other a double! I should have paid attention to the part numbers listed in the OM.

Long story short. I feel really good about how to mesh etc. Two of the gears I recived are double slipper version. I did not see much mention of this on the forums/discussions I ran into. Actually I thought mine was a double based on the AD.

Doubt I can send them back and would really like to try the larger tooth. I think I read somewhere i could use it with a bushing or something. Kinda looks like I could use it as is with one slipper and simply adjust the nut accordingly. Suggestions?

Depending on the seller, you might ask for an exchange for some spurs you can use. IMO the dual setup will give you more problems than what its worth. I would ask and if not resell them on ebay and move on.

The duals are a pain to setup and always had a terrible wobble. I swapped them out for the single setup and never looked back.
