Diff questions

What’s up HPI guys???
I’m building a custom Hybrid TMaxx and am using several HPI parts for the build.


My question is…Will the BP diffs drop in to these?


Or is modification needed? If so what mods?
Also, is there a better quality aluminum diff case available other than GPM?

I am not sure if the BP diffs will fit the TMaxx bulks.. As far as the cases here is a couple for some FLM ones..

I have to say as far as i no you are the first person that i have seen ask questions here about a TMaxx.. Hope no one gives me 💩 about helping out a TMaxx guy..

What other hpi parts are you using on this build,sounds interesting.. How bout some pics..

OK maybe I should rephrase my question. LOL…

I’M using GA bulks for the build and have already modified a set of savage 25 diff housings to fit between wider bulkheads.
The Savage 25 diff and housing is mounted to the skid plate and I use an extra brace on the top to connect to the chassis for extra support.

I’m looking for an aluminum diff housing/case (not diff cup) to add some bling and need to know if the BP diffs will fit the aluminum or stock savage 25 housing.

I’m using HPI dogbone center shafts and have modified the wheel axles to be HPI dog bones as well.

the bp diffs should drop right into the savage bulkheads you linked to. as the bearings for all the savage bulkheads are the same in outer diameter.
