diff oil

So I'm reading alot of posts regarding oil in the diffs. When I took apart my front diff to rebuild it, no oil came out of it, and no oil went back in. I just greased up the gears and that was it. Should I have put oil in? If so, what should I use, and what's the best way to put it in? Sorry if this is a stupid question!!

only grease is supposed to be in the diffs

I have a Savage X 4.6 RTR...with aluminum diffs

So would you reccomend leaving the grease in, or taking that out and adding diff oil? I'm just a basher, both on and off pavement, if that makes a difference.

Perfect, thanks man, I think I'll give this a try. So what kind of difference will I notice if I put 10k in the front and rear diffs?
