The only way you release the claim is when you have the truck. If you cancle the claim you will have no way of getting your money back. The only reason to ask you to do so is because paypal has held your money till this thing gets fixed so it sounds like if you don't get the truck you will get your money back. Hold in there man you will get your flux on way or another so long as you don't cancle that claim.

thanks guys. I'm pumped now. i am going to hold out till everything is straight and i get the truck in my hands. The fact that my payment was done on aug 3 and it was said to be shipped aug 12th is enough reason for me to keep the claim open. horrible ebayer user folks never deal with them. the 530USD price tag lured me into this but hopefully all works out.
also to answer your question a shipping number was given but here is the message i get when i tried it

The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on August 12, 2009 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later.

so there no info on where it is or where shipped from so I'm not out of the woods quiet yet but at least there's a little positive.

Even once it shows shipping info that doesn't mean anything he could mail you an empty shoe box. This guy seems more and more shady as time goes by that is a lot of feedback for one month

On the flip side, the USPS messaging on their tracking system is useless (comparitively speaking) so at least he reached out to them which could mean that it shipped & they will update it a month or so after the transaction is complete (they just arent great at the web-communication part of it).

:Xfingers:

he wants his money, you want your truck, hold the claim until you get it or this guy is going to ghost and take your cash with him. I am a huge fan of hold it in my hands then pay for it shopping insyead of order it and see if it ever shows up. I hope thi resolves itself in your favor either way, some people just don't get that 600 beans is a lot of money and they think they can take it without regard to the consequences on the person they took it from, makes me ill to think about how often this sorta thing happens.
