Can anyone tell me if the stock purple cooling head for a Savage 25 will fit on a savage 4.6/.28? Thanks, ck

SJ is correct there is no way. If you are looking for a nice head and cooler temps get the Nova head. There a little pricy but are very nice as they are machined instead of casted.

the nova heads look realy good i read up on them there meant to keep the temps down to by like 15 to 30 f


and also will a 25 crank shaft fit a 4.6 as i just got a old 4.6 that need reparing

No the 25 crank will not fit in the 4.6 block.

Yup the 4.6 should just bolt right up.
