Compatible parts between savage versions

Anyone know if there's a list of what's compatible between the trucks?

I've got an SS 25 and I would like to get the 3 speed and reverse module, along with the new style transmission with top access to the gears


not really sure what all is compatible across the product lines

I have never seen a list. Most things are compatible between trucks. If you buy the kit or Assembly of the 3 speed and put into the X case or XL case you can throw in the reverse module and will fit directly into your SS 25.

I guess the best way if you need to know if something fits between the old and new versions just ask as I don't know of a list unless someone else does.

The way I checked was to download all the manuals for all three versions and compare the parts list. Like larsen said, most parts are compatible. Things get a bit tricky when you try retrofitting engine components.

Even the parts list is a bit scued. A lot of parts have been upgraded thought the years thus making parts have different part numbers, however most of them will fit with no issues at all.
