Ok i am wondering how do you get the brass collet that the flywheel goes over off the crank? :dunno:

When you have the back plate off and the piston out tap the crank shaft on a table and it will slide off. don't WAKE it just a gentle tap ..

What if you don't have the mill disassembled... Cause mine is all together..lol

This is how I do it. It is an eye glasses flat tip screw driver. giggle it to widen the gap, pull it off.

Hope this helps.

this is what I do too if stuck, most slide off. I don't reuse these after I pull them too.. toss in trash and replace. Thats your call but I have had a reused one slip after being cleaned up well not worth it for a cheap part (to me) ..

Thanks fellas... Wanna put a new one on but wasn't sure how to get it off..

I do the same and toss it; put on a brand new one; run it for a few tanks and tighten the flywheele nut again.
