clutch shoes

i was messing with my engine and was trying to take off the plate where the clutch shoes mount on my nitro star .21 and i couldnt get it off any tips? and i was wondering if i can put the 3 shoe plate from a .25 on my .21

try tapping it with the handle of a screw driver. and yes you can mount the 3 shoe fly wheel on the .21

what advantage would i get with a 3 shoe flywheel and would i have to get a new clutch bell

It would grab better and no. You can use pretty much any type of clutch setup for an 8th scale. As long as the flywheel used, places the clutch and CB where they should be.
