clutch bell spur gear to tight

Hello guy's need a little help.I bent the engine plate on my X4.6 replaced it with one off a XL trying to use 18\49 combo but will not turnHELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

you are going to have to bite the bullet and get a 47 tooth spur gear or a smaller clutch bell. or if you really want to run the 18 /49 you will have to dremel the slots for the mount screws longer , but be careful

mickey hit it dead on,but a 17/49 is just as good but without the modifacation of the engine plate

Thanks for the info guy's it looks to me like the slots are long enough the screws in engine mount are hitting chassis plate .

oh you can clearance the chassis plate a little bit or get some button head screws for it
