Think I figured out what when wrong with my diff (at least the rear one.) the stock tank side bearing blew out :duh:causing my whole rear diff to be miss aligned. Which caused the clicking. I think I need a new ring gear. The pinion looks OK. I am going to have to order some new bearings. Does anyone know of some quality sealed ones that will work for the diffs? Also I pulled the front bulked off and saw no damage on the ring and pinion. But I am not sure if there is anything wrong inside the diffs, as I have not taken them apart yet. But if I replace the bearings I will have to take them apart and can go from there. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks Frddyj! I am going to go through the SMF store, but I think for instant gradifacation I am going to stop by hobbie fever today and pick up 2 pre-assembled diffs.

I know, I know I should go through Ebay. But I was looking on ebay today and they want 24-25 bucks and like 13 for shipping. sounds like I will be spending the same amount either way. But with LHS I have them in hand.

ok, frd... you win. I have just bought 2 of the ones with the bulkhead /bearing/pinion or the second link you provided.

It's your fault if this guy does not come through... ROFL

kool, you just saved yourself $20 and will have a bunch of extra parts as back up now.

who's better-n you?

Well Frddy you are off the hook. The guy came through. Got both of the fully assembled bulkheads on Saturday and put them in that night. I was all set to go (so I thought.) Went to run yesterday and I ran into a small issue. My OWB crapped out on me. It spun freely. So I got home last night and pulled the back plate off. I tried to turn it with my fingers and it did not even catch. I am wondering if a good soaking of WD-40 would clean it up and get it to work? I have purchased a new one from Hobby Fever just in case. But if I can extend the life if this one that would be great.

id vote to just replace it, especially since you already have it.

you might get to catch a lil' with wd 40, but who knows for how long.

& if your luck is ne thing like mine, its gonna crap out for good right when you take it out to bash.

what you use to start your mill?

The dreaded roto-start! I have been thinking about the pull start but, have not gotten it yet.
