Forgive the noob question, but what do you use to clean nitro off of the composite brake discs? (Savage X 4.6 rtr)

During break-in the brakes were covered in oil from the nitro. I am not sure of the disc composition and didn't want to use anything that would destroy them.

you could just hit them with nitro clean, denatured alcohol, gumout carb cleaner (it does not corrode plastic or composites) or soap and water if you want to take them off. simple green will work, purple power, or any non corrosive cleaning agent

ive use walmart brand engine degreeser .. in blue n red can the foaming kind... 2 bucks cleans the whole truck extreamly fast n easy .. spray the whole chasis then let it drip off mostly.. then water hose it down being careful not to get eectronics n engine wet...then compresor it dry ... works great breaks never got screwd up ..

Thanks guys!

I guess I didn't realize just how tough these trucks are. I have some of that engine cleaner too...
