I was wounding if anyone hase ever tried using MIP X-Dudy CVD,s for the center drivelines, in order to eliminate the dog bones and axle cup's? I know this my not be posible with the nitro Savages but with the electric versions it is definitely posible to use MIP X-Dudy CVD's if you got the right parts.

Namely this part that hooks up to the differential input shafts.

Hi, that part seems to be discontinued but it would be a good idea to replace those cups and dogbones for a cardan. Those cups get weared out fast.

Hi

I was able to order a set from Lees Toy and Hobby, unfortunately it was the last set they had. Here is the MIP part number 1546 for that piece. The internet Wayback Machine came in handy for finding that part number.

Hi

If anyone else want to try this, you MIGHT be able to get the 8mm drive hubs from Stormer Hobbies, there site says they still have 2 in stock but you may want to call first before ordering.
