ok, I'm wondering what will happen if i do the cen diff mod to only the rear diff and leave my front diff stock...will the gearing stay the same or will it really be different. cause when i read teh article in rcbashers "how to thread" he said that it will lower your gearing..any ideas?

Ok Here's why you should not do that.

The ratio's are different and they will tear each other up!! DON'T do that!!! Put both Cen diff's in or as Blazer X said take out the front driveshaft if you change the rear-end gears but kinda defeating the 4x4 effect there aren't you!! PEACE and good luck.
