hello everybody. i need a little help i finaly got my savage xl tuned rite went out to do a little jumping and i broke the upright set the little plastic pease that holds the shock rod in set.i noticed that on the upright it has two holes for the rod to fit in and one of them was empty.i was wandering if i could just swich the left side for the right side or are they made on a different angle.also what up grade should i buy to avoid that happining again thanks.i am very new to the hobby!!!!
 
Maybe a pic of what your talking about might help us understand a little better what exactly your talking about. Sounds like you mean the shock tower. If so the holes are there to adjust your shocks to how you like to run with them. Just be sure if you do it to one side you do it to the other as well. And to the back for a even ride all around. Someone else might be able to tell you more about the angles of it than I can.
 
agrred but is think ur talking about what the tie tod goens into if so yes u can switch sides and it will work
 
the part # is 85048 the turn buckle fits on to the top of the upright set i guess for support.it has two holes for the rod to fit in i was thinking one hole for the left and one for the right. i broke the one on the right rear

yeah u can just switch the 2 rears and it will get u thur i that was my first broken part i figured it out quick get back to bashing quick
 
thanks alot man my buddy has a t max3.3 and he has been calling me out.do you think my savage will out run him?
 
youmight not out run him the 3.3is a screamer of a small block. but you should get him off the line if your truck keeps its wheels on the ground. (this beeing said is dependant of the tune on both trucks)
