Broken Starter Shaft

I got myself a new Savage XL and managed to break the ball head of the rotostart starter shaft, the one that goes into the engine side. I tried to get a replacement but it seems to be out of stock at all the major online sellers.

Question is can I use any other from a different manufacturer? This is the long one , 225 mm , HPI part number 87104.

Whats a good replacement that you might know of?

not long enough, itll hit the bumper. i tried that when i had my savvy extended and that one didnt fit.
