hey guys, i found a park in huntington beach this weekend and had a blast..but resulted in a ripped goliath tire and more importantly two broken drives shafts, the ones coming from the diff to the wheels. broke 2 of them. any suggestions for better and stronger ones??
 
Thanks for the SMF dogbones they are real beefy looking for sure!! A must for not breaking or twisting those shafts!

no, the bones are the same length. the axles that come stock on the xl are longer which gives the xl a wider stance, but the kit i linked has the axles that are same length as the standard x.
 
good stuff Fred.

after the initial upgrade cost. Bones can be had for under 14 bucks for a set of 4. If you find a way to bend them crashing. But they will not snap! I have yet to bend one too.

I have all 3 types here's a pic of them all together

thanks guys. maybe i'm retarded, but cant i just stick the xl bones in there and not change any other parts on my 4.6 x? the only thing different i could see that MAY pose a problem is the fit into the cups itself? thank god for this forum
 
thanks bankrupter. would you recommend going the xl conversion kit, or just going with the flm dogbones for a more cost effective route?
