Break it down for me what is MAH??

What is MAH what does it do? Is the voltage output of battery ever too much? How do these two ratings go together ? Nube question i know bu thats why I'm here!

Mah is the amount of power a battery will hold. The higher the number the longer they will last. Can the voltage be too much for what? They make 12V batteries. You wouldn't want to use those for a servo if that's what your asking. 6v max for servos in most cases.

mAh= milliamp hours. Thats the amount of power a battery can store at a time. Say you got a 1500 mAh battery and you have a device that pulls 100 mA, then that device could be powered by that battery for 15 hours.

A good rule for charging is based on the MaH. If your battery is 2000 Mah, then charge it at 2amps, if it's 4000 Mah charge it at 4amps. Etc...
