ok i bought the duel disk brakes for my savage 25 and i play with them a couple of time maybe 4-5 hours and they stop braking hard and when i do jumps cant bring the front end down these are the 2nd pair are there better brakes out there that will last longer

i have never ran those but everyone seems to have problems with the pads not lasting too long and breaks fading right away. if i were you i would switch to the dual red fiber because they perform a lot better.

make sure you're using the correct brake pads if you upgrade to the steel brakes. that will make a difference. i had the upgraded kit on my 3 speed and really liked it, personally. if your brakes are good at first but then you notice some fade, don't forget you can adjust the brakes by turning the screw on the outside of the chassis (it's connected to the brake, if you're unsure just turn on the receiver and radio, and hit the brakes... it's the line that moves) towards the back to help give you more brakes again. i find i tend to adjust that a lot, no matter which set of brakes i'm using. it's a big truck. takes a lot to stop it. lol.

yeah I'm always turning the knob on the side of the truck for more brakes and the pads i was using are just the ones that come with the stainless steel kit but I'm just going to try the red brakes

are these the right brakes they are not red but i had some blue ones like this in mine before i changed to the stainless steel... i couldnt find duel brakes

make sure you get the bigger output cup for the shaft cause the inner size is different on those sets of pads!!but the red fibre are alot better and a good up grade also good to have a spare set of pads with you cause a hard impact does still break these as well!!

I installed the stainless ones to and I love em. they work great at 1st I was able to do front flips. then they kind of loosened off. I just removed the 2 screws and lock tight em and there good again

finally got the brakes in today and went to try them out they worked mint. thanks for letting me know about them guys after 1 hour of play still brakes fine, what a change lol
