brakes

I am having trouble keeping brakes on my savage X 4.6. I have been through 2 sets of break pads, the second were carbon fiber. I seem to split them in half and they fall out. I can not figure out why this is happening. I run with other identical trucks, and they do nbot have any problems. Any ideas?

I've been meaning to ask what will happen if you don't use brake pads.

I think mine fell off months ago, but I can do front flips with mine if I wanted. The rotors look fine.

i quit using pads like a year ago ,works great for me no probs at all, an i can do stopies if i set it up tight,i,m running the dual disk set up just minus the pads.

I had the ss brake on one of mine and hated it so I put the dual fiber brakes now it stops on a dime

yea i had the ss brakes and i had heaps of probs not with the pads but with the disk i had it warping all the time i started up a tread ages ago i will try 2 find it it hepled me heaps

get the dual red fiber brakes from hpi...I had the same problem on both my trucks and this solved it!
