Brakes aren't stopping the Truck

I got a Savage X4.6 with the dual fibre disk brakes. I have had my truck for almost two months now. I have had to replace parts in both my front and rear differentials and I managed to break my disk brakes. (I have been driving the truck pretty hard).

I have installed new fibre disk breaks but the truck won't stop (it won't lock up the tires). The truck does stop but when I put the brake on the wheels continue to move, allowing the truck to move forward slightly. When the truck was brand new, if I put the brakes on the truck would do a forward flip. Could this have something to do with the differentials or what would cause this?

Thanks.

I have tried using the dial. I even put fuel tubing on the end instead of the spring. Could it have anything to do with the differentials?

well, most likely no. you would hear clicking (the gears grinding) if you are braking with bad diffs. Currently I am having that issue. my truck would run but not well and hard accel and breaking would cause the gears in the diffs to grind. I am working on replacing them now. I would look at the receiver pack batteries and make sure they are good. if you are running with the 4 pack or AAs then upgrade to the hump pack.

You could have a problem with your diffs or you could need to tighten the screws that hold the pads to the tranny a little bit to give them some more bite. We just put some on my brother-in-law's truck and his is doing front flips last night.

I will try tightening the screws a little more. I have done this but I am unable to tighten them all the way or else the brakes will be on all the time.

I do use a hump pack so I don't think there is a problem with the battery.

did you replace the little brass piston?, because if its old to it will have some wear on it and it will cause the brakes to fail or not grip hard enough and make sure you have all the little washers on to without those the screw will tighten down but yet it will allow the plates to have more space which in turns means very little to no brakes. just my .02
