Hay people how do u change a brake cam on a savage x

Loosen/ remove the disk brakes, remove the cam piston, the brake cam pulls out the side of the transmission.

Do i have to take the engine out to get the brake discs screws

It takes a little finesse, but I've always been able to do it with out any disassembly.

I've always had to take the engine/engine plate out to get the disks off the hub and at both the caliper screws.
